How does Invisalign® for teens work?

Invisalign® for teens works in the same way as Invisalign® for adults - with one difference. Any aligners customised for our teens patients come with a blue wear indicator to help them remember to wear their aligners for the recommended 22 hours a day.

Other than that, teens can take their aligners out for eating, brushing and flossing, and social events as needed.

A series of Invisalign® clear aligners will be custom made for your teen’s smile, with each set shaped differently to guide the teeth into proper alignment. Instead of coming in for adjustments, teens can switch to a new set of aligners every couple weeks from the comfort of home.
